Workplaces and workplace groups are used for the refined scheduling of employees. While personnel are generally assigned to shifts in terms of time and structure, it is possible through workstations to provide them with further information regarding their work location within the shift.
Places and groups can be maintained in the Production page for each company structure.
They have a validity period that regulates from when to when they can be scheduled. In this way, structural changes to the production site can be recorded. Only currently valid or future valid locations are displayed on the administration page. There must be no name overlap of places/groups during their validity period.
The elements can be scheduled for shifts of their company structure during their validity. Once scheduled, a workstation/group can no longer be edited.
Workstation group
A workstation group is used for the uniform assignment of several workstations by one employee. The validity period of the group overwrites that of the contained workstations when the group is used.
